Parks of Larimer County
Part of the Northern Colorado lifestyle revolves around the outdoors, and a system of fantastic public parks for kids and adults alike to enjoy.
The city of Fort Collins currently has 7 community parks and a whopping 43 neighborhood parks! These parks are in addition to dozens of miles of paved trails, and dozens of open space areas that are also free to enjoy.
That's just one city! There's also Loveland, Windsor, and Wellington (the surrounding towns), as well as Larimer county parks and natural areas.

Some of my family's favorite spots are listed below...
Twin Silo Park
Twin Silo Park located off Ziegler Rd in Fort Collins features a large playground, much of which is covered, sports fields, and a community garden area.
City Park
Fort Collins City Park is a beautiful area with large, open grassy areas perfect for a picnic, studying, or playing. A large playground for the kids is located across from the city's seasonal swimming pool facilities.
Bobcat Ridge Natural Area
Nestles against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, you can hike or bike miles of beautifully maintained trails year-round. Enjoy wildlife sightings, bird watching, and peace and quiet.
